ONGWEDIVA, 17 NOV (NAMPA) – Swapo presidential candidate, Hage Geingob has called on delegates to the party’s 6th ordinary congress to be held in Windhoek from 23 to 26 November, to vote for his Team Harambee.
Geingob’s slate includes Netumbo Nandi-Ndaitwah for vice-president, Sophia Shaningwa for secretary-general (SG) and Marco Hausiku for deputy SG.

NPPTA concerned with taxi operators involved in crimes

RUNDU, 17 NOV (NAMPA) – Namibian Public Passenger Transport Association (NPPTA) in the Kavango East Region is concerned with the escalating crime involving taxi operators.
The association raised this concern during a stakeholder meeting here on Thursday.
NPPTA Regional Chairperson, Thobias Hamutenya said it has come to their attention that taxi drivers or operators are involving themselves in criminal activities.
