Muharukua laid to rest next to her father

OPUWO, 21 OCT (NAMPA) The late Governor of the Kunene Region, Angelika Muharukua has been laid to rest next to her father, Uemutonda Langman Ruhozu at Okozongondjoza near Opuwo.
Hundreds of people, including President Hage Geingob, Chief Justice Peter Shivute and Prime Minister Saara Kuugongelwa-Amadhila, were amongst those who came to pay their last respects.

ROSH PINAH, 21 OCT (NAMPA) The much-awaited Rosh Pinah-Oranjemund tar road, constructed at a cost of N.dollars 714 million, was officially opened on Friday.
Minister of Works and Transport, Alpheus !Naruseb officiated at the event on behalf of President Hage Geingob.
The opening of the new road signalled the departure of the multi-decade system of travellers submitting to security clearance before entering the Sperrgebiet area leading to diamond mining town, Oranjemund.
