WINDHOEK, 17 FEB (NAMPA) – People in Windhoek’s informal settlements are vandalising and stealing portable toilets provided to them in efforts to improve sanitation.
The toilets were erected last month in response to an outbreak of Hepatitis E, for which risk factors are linked to poor sanitation.
A case of cholera was also recorded in the capital at the end of January.

WINDHOEK, 17 FEB (NAMPA) – Paulus ‘The Hitman’ Moses lost his World Boxing Organisation (WBO) world title fight on a unanimous decision to Ray Beltran in Reno, Nevada in the early hours of Saturday morning.
In the fight monitored by Nampa on Namibian Broadcasting Corporation Television, all three judges - Erik Cheek (116-112); Burt Clements (117-111) and Don Trella (117-111) - scored Beltran the winner by comfortable margins.
