Police officer dies in road accident near Okahandja

OTJIWARONGO, 13 AUG (NAMPA) – A 33-year-old member of the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) died on Saturday afternoon after a vehicle he was traveling in overturned on the Okahandja-Karibib road.
The deceased police officer has been identified as Meenuvi Hindjou, NamPol Spokesperson in the Otjozondjupa Region Warrant Officer Maureen Mbeha told Nampa on Sunday.
“His close relatives have been informed of his death,” said Mbeha.
