Berlin sends crisis management team to US to aid German Irma victims

Berlin (dpa) - The German government has deployed a crisis management team to support citizens affected by Hurricane Irma in the US state of Florida, a spokeswoman for the Foreign Ministry said Tuesday.
The team, which includes 31 people from the Foreign Ministry, the army and other government agencies, arrived in Atlanta on Tuesday. An emergency hotline has been set up for German victims of the hurricane.
