Endorsement is allowed but not de-campaigning others: Mbumba

WINDHOEK, 17 SEP (NAMPA) – Swapo Secretary-General (SG) Nangolo Mbumba declared Friday that there is nothing wrong with supporting any candidate for the upcoming elective congress, but no one should de-campaign another candidate.
In an interview with Nampa, Mbumba said endorsing somebody is not unconstitutional.
“Endorsement is our right and is not a violation of our Constitution,” he explained.
However, Mbumba made it clear that endorsement is not an election.
