Karasburg alleged killer August van Wyk on the run

WINDHOEK, 18 SEP (NAMPA) - A resident of Karasburg in the //Kharas Region accused of killing his girlfriend by kicking and hitting her with stones in August 2014, is on the run.
August van Wyk, whose murder trial was set to kick-off before High Court Judge Nate Ndauendapo on Monday and continue Tuesday, disappeared on Sunday afternoon shortly after he had consultations with his State-funded defence lawyer Milton Engelbrecht earlier that day.
