Nkurenkuru Town Council demolishes illegal shebeens

RUNDU, 20 SEP (NAMPA) – The Nkurenkuru Town Council on Tuesday demolished 17 illegal shebeens that were erected on council land last month.
Council Chief Executive Officer, Petrus Sikongo Sindimba said the structures were erected without approval from the council.
He told Nampa on enquiry Wednesday the land where the structures were erected has already been allocated to the Ministry of Safety and Security for the construction of a new police station.
