Vaccination subsidies for livestock recommended

WINDHOEK, 13 OCT (NAMPA) – A Parliamentary Standing Committee on Natural Resources has recommended that the Ministry of Agriculture, Water and Forestry (MAWF) consider re-introducing livestock vaccination subsidies.
The committee conducted public hearings and meetings in the Ohangwena, Kavango West, Otjozondjupa and Omaheke regions in June 2017, after a motion on livestock vaccination subsidies was tabled in the National Assembly (NA) by DTA of Namibia President, McHenry Venaani last year.
