Confiscated money goes missing from Otjiwarongo Police Station

OTJIWARONGO, 21 OCT (NAMPA) - A case of theft has been opened at Otjiwarongo after money confiscated from a suspect went missing from the police safe.
The Namibian Police Force (NamPol)’s Otjozondjupa Regional Commander, Commissioner Heinrich Tjiveze on Friday confirmed the theft to Nampa.
An amount of N.dollars 38 131 and counterfeit cigarettes were confiscated from Congolese refugee, Banny John Kabiena after his arrest at Otjiwarongo on 07 January 2016.
