Impressive Stars sink Pirates in league opener

WINDHOEK, 21 OCT (NAMPA) – Namibia Premier League outfit African Stars beat their arch-rivals Orlando Pirates 3-1 in the opener of the 2017/18 MTC Premier League at the Sam Nujoma Stadium on Friday.
The 2017/18 MTC Premiership kicked off with exciting football at a packed stadium after an absence of more than a year due to a lack of sponsorship.
Stars started the game like a house on fire, scoring their goal as early as the first 15 minutes through Panduleni Nenkundi.
