WINDHOEK, 10 DEC (NAMPA) – Over 200 people showed up at the Old Location Cemetery in the capital on Sunday to commemorate International Human Rights Day and Namibian Women’s Day.
The commemoration of International Human Rights Day is observed annually on 10 December as declared universally by the United Nations General Assembly, to see that rights of all humankind are protected.
On the same day, Namibia commemorates the Old Location Massacre during which many Namibians lost their lives in 1959. ...
