Pregnant murder-accused denied bail at Okakarara

OKAKARARA, 17 JAN (NAMPA) – The pregnant woman who allegedly stabbed her father to death in a heated argument at Okakarara Monday night, was on Wednesday denied bail.
Kaoko Tjave made her first court appearance before the acting Okakarara Magistrate, Emelda Mujoro.
Mujoro explained Tjave’s legal rights to engage a lawyer of her choosing, apply for a State-funded lawyer through the Ministry of Justice’s Directorate of Legal Aid or defend herself in court.
