Girl dies after being run over near Rundu

RUNDU, 22 JAN (NAMPA) – An 11-year-old girl died on the spot Saturday night after she was run over at Muroro village in the Kavango East.
Maria Ndara was trying to cross the road when she was run over by a Volkswagen Polo, the Namibian Police Force’s crime investigations coordinator for the region, Deputy Commissioner Bonifatius Kanyetu told Nampa on Monday.
The accident occurred around 19h50 on the Trans-Caprivi Highway.
