German economy expected to have slowed in fourth quarter of 2017

Berlin (dpa) - Analysts predict that the German economy slowed as last year came to an end.
After Europe's biggest economy grew by 0.8 per cent in the third quarter of 2017, analysts expect the Federal Statistics Office (Destatis) to say on Wednesday that the nation's gross domestic product (GDP) slipped back a gear, to 0.6 per cent, in the final three months of the year.
