Stars, Pirates settle for goalless draw

WINDHOEK, 16 Feb (NAMPA) – African Stars Football Club (FC) and Orlando Pirates FC settled for a goalless draw in the first match of the second round of the 2017/2018 Namibia Premier League (NPL) played at Sam Nujoma Stadium on Thursday evening.
Both teams started the game lively, creating several half chances which their strikers failed to convert.
Pirates lost their recent signing from Stellenbosch, South Africa, Tederius Uiseb in the first 15 minutes of the game to an injury.
