Taxi drivers upset by postponed march

WINDHOEK, 20 FEB (NAMPA) – Close to 50 disgruntled taxi drivers were upset after their planned demonstration which was scheduled for Tuesday was postponed indefinitely by the Namibia Bus and Taxi Association (NABTA) on Monday.
The taxi drivers wanted to demonstrate against high traffic fines and inadequate taxi ranks.
They are also demanding an increase of 20 per cent in taxi fares.
