Speed needed for policy framework to attract global capital: Alweendo

WINDHOEK, 13 MAR (NAMP) – In order to attract global capital into the mining sector, Namibia needs to speed up its policy framework review, currently underway, Minister of Mines and Energy, Tom Alweendo has said.
Speaking at a media conference in the capital on Tuesday, Alweendo said the review is important to ensure the right regulatory framework that is able to attract the necessary investment capital.
