Boycotts - when politics clashes with sport
Paris, March 14, 2018 (AFP) - Britain announced on Wednesday that members of the royal family and British politicians will not attend the 2018 World Cup in Russia in protest at a nerve agent attack on a former spy in Britain.
Despite the diplomatic snub, a boycott by the England team is currently thought unlikely.
