MET prioritises combatting of human-wildlife conflict

JOHANNESBURG, 19 APR (NAMPA) – The Ministry of Environment and Tourism (MET) has allocated the biggest portion of its budget to fighting human-wildlife conflict.
Motivating MET’s N.dollars 402 064 000 share of the N.dollars 65 billion national budget for the 2018/19 financial year in the National Assembly on Wednesday, Minister Pohamba Shifeta said his ministry would establish and implement measures and strategies for the protection and conservation of wildlife to reduce human-wildlife conflict.
