Kavango East leading in food industry: Likoro

WINDHOEK, 23 JUL (NAMPA) – The Kavango East Region is proving itself to be leading in the food industry by subsidising local small and medium-scale farmers through Operation Werengendje.
This was said by Food Namibia Director, Manfried Likoro at a Food Namibia event in the capital on Monday.
Operation Werengendje is aimed at assisting and inspiring residents of the region to grow their own food to ensure self-sufficiency and food security.
