Vakwangali Annual Cultural Festival to be revived in September

NKURENKURU, 14 AUG (NAMPA) - The Vakwangali Annual Cultural Festival (VACF) which was lastly celebrated in the 1960s is to be revived between 07 and 09 September.
Speaking to Nampa on Monday about the event, Chairperson of the historian committee which forms part of the organising body, Petrus Sindimba, said the festival is planned to be held at Mayara village, the village of the royal family located east of Nkurenkuru.
