Keetmanshoop teacher charged with abduction of learner appears before court

KEETMANSHOOP, 20 SEP (NAMPA) – A 45-year-old teacher who allegedly abducted a 15-year-old school girl here in June this year, made her third appearance in the Keetmanshoop Magistrate’s Court on Thursday.
The accused, Valery Bock, a teacher at Suiderlig Secondary School, is charged with abduction under the Combating of Immoral Practices Act 21 of 1980.
Bock appeared before Magistrate Melissa Mungunda, who postponed the case to 27 November this year for further police investigations.
