Decline in performance for agricultural sector

WINDHOEK, 21 SEP (NAMPA) – The Namibian agricultural sector has declined in performance compared to strong growth shown in the corresponding quarter of 2017.
This was revealed in the Second Quarter Gross Domestic Product 2018 report of the Namibia Statistics Agency (NSA) released on Thursday.
NSA Statistician-General, Alex Shimwafeni explained that this is due to fewer animals made available for slaughter despite good rainfall and promising livestock prices.
