Sudan's inflation rate jumps to 68.64 pct in Sept.

KHARTOUM, Oct. 11 (Xinhua) -- The inflation rate in Sudan jumped to 68.64 percent in September from 66.82 percent in August, said Sudan's Central Statistics Bureau Thursday.
The bureau attributed the rise to the price hike in food and drinks.
It said that the Red Sea state in eastern Sudan registered the highest inflation rate of 100.84 percent compared to 98.32 percent in August.
