(Special for CAFS) Tanzanian gov't says homosexuality, gay marriage remain illegal in the country

DAR ES SALAAM, Nov. 9 (Xinhua) -- Tanzania's Minister of Home Affairs Kangi Lugola said on Friday that homosexuality and gay marriages remain illegal in the east African nation.
"The government will not by any means entertain homosexuality and gay marriages," Lugola told the National Assembly in the capital Dodoma.
The minister said the law provided that whoever performed same-sex acts in Tanzania whether willingly or by force committed an offence.
