1 (ALGIERS, Nov. 14 (Xinhua) -- Djamel Ould Abbes, secretary general of the National Liberation Front, the ruling party in Algeria, resigned yesterday.
The official APS news agency quoted a source within the ruling party as saying that Abbes decided to resign after he endured 'health concerns that force him to take a long-term leave.'
