UNAM lecturer remanded in custody for two counts of attempted murder

RUNDU, 06 DEC (NAMPA) – A lecturer at the University of Namibia’s (UNAM) Rundu Campus made his first appearance in the Rundu Magistrate’s Court on two counts of attempted murder on Wednesday.
Nelson Antonio, 44, appeared before Assistant Magistrate Hikerwa Rufinus, who remanded him in custody pending further investigations into the matter and to allow him to seek legal representation.
Public Prosecutor, Emma Mayavero represented the State and the case was postponed to 15 January 2019.
