Alleged repeat rapist denied bail

WINDHOEK, 18 DEC (NAMPA) – The case of a young man accused of the brutal rape of a 9-year-old girl in Otjomuise in October, was on Tuesday postponed to 12 March 2019 for legal aid application and further police investigations.
Gervin Gawanab, 20, who is in custody for rape and intention to cause grievous bodily harm, appeared on Tuesday before Magistrate Atutala Shikalepo in the Katutura Magistrate’s Court, who denied his request for bail.
