Crime stats for 2018/19 festive season showed increase

WINDHOEK, 19 JAN (NAMPA) – Despite increased crime prevention efforts over the festive season, statistics availed by the Namibian Police Force (NamPol) indicate that there was in increase in crimes reported.
This was revealed by NamPol’s Deputy Inspector-General for Operations, Major General Peter Embubulu when he presented feedback on the 2018/19 festive crime-combating operations to Vice President Nangolo Mbumba on Wednesday.
