Over 8 700 learners study German as foreign language in Namibia

TSUMEB, 21 FEB (NAMPA) – Over 8 700 learners study German as a foreign language and 1 300 as mother tongue within 53 schools in Namibia, Minister of Education, Arts and Culture Katrina Hanse-Himarwa has said.
Hanse-Himarwa said this in a speech read on her behalf at the inauguration ceremony of the Etosha Secondary School into the Schools: Partners for the Future (PASCH) initiative here on Wednesday.
