Changes in weather patterns threaten food security: Moussa-Elkadhum

REHOBOTH, 16 MAR (NAMPA) – The environment is changing at an unprecedented rate and the impacts of climate change are global, with visible changes in weather patterns which threaten food production.
This was said by the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organisation (Unesco) Representative to Namibia, Djaffar Moussa-Elkadhum during the joint commemoration of the International Days for Forests, Wetlands and Water at Oanob Dam in Rehoboth on Friday.
