Monthly inflation slowed in February 2019

WINDHOEK, 18 MAR (NAMPA) – Month-to-month inflation decreased to -0,1 per cent in February 2019 from 1,2 per cent the previous month, the Namibia Consumer Price Index (NCPI) shows.
According to the NCPI released by the Namibia Statistics Agency on Monday, food and non-alcoholic beverages; alcoholic beverages and tobacco; and housing, water, electricity, gas and other fuels affected the slow-down in inflation.
