Two arrested for possession of wildlife products

RUNDU, 18 MAR (NAMPA) – Two men were arrested in the Kavango East Region last Friday after they were found in possession of wildlife products, including pangolin skin.
The Namibian Police Force’s Crime Investigation Coordinator for Kavango East, Deputy Commissioner Bonifasius Kanyetu told Nampa on Monday the two men were arrested at Mayara village.
“They were found in possession of four pangolin skins, as well as a leopard skin,” Kanyetu said.
The value of the products is not known yet.
