Gibeon rape suspect’s case postponed to June

REHOBOTH, 15 APR (NAMPA) – A man arrested on 29 January this year for the alleged rape of a 26-year-old woman in Gibeon before fleeing the scene, made his second appearance at the Gibeon Magistrate’s Court on Monday.
The accused, Abraham Swartbooi, appeared before Acting Magistrate Elizabeth Naushinga on a charge of rape when his case was postponed to 07 June for further investigations and to allow him to apply for legal aid.
