Swakopmund serial rapist sent to jail for 30 years

WINDHOEK, 24 APR (NAMPA)- A Swakopmund resident found guilty in the High Court of raping a 15-year-old girl and two other women in Mondesa in 2015, was on Wednesday sentenced to an effective 30 years’ imprisonment.
Brendan van Wyk, 33, was sentenced by High Court Judge Dinnah Usiku after the judge earlier found him guilty on three counts of rape.
