Ma/gaisa king Phura no more

WINDHOEK, 25 APR (NAMPA) - Ma/gaisa artist Timothy ‘Phura’ Duwe died in the Swakopmund State Hospital on Thursday.
Close friend and fellow musician Stella !Naruses told Nampa Phura died around 07h00 on Thursday after a long illness.
“He was admitted to the Swakopmund State Hospital on 18 December,” she said.
Phura was born on 03 February 1980. He was raised by his grandparents in Khorixas, where he also completed primary and secondary school.
