Female students dominate NUST graduation

WINDHOEK, 25 APR (NAMPA) – More than half of the students who graduated from the Namibia University of Science and Technology (NUST) on Thursday, were female.
Out of the total 2 352 graduates, 1 250 were female.
NUST Council Chairperson, Esi Schimming-Chase said this proves there has been a breakthrough in male-dominated fields.
Schimming-Chase further announced that this was her last graduation ceremony as chairperson of the council as her contract ends on 31 October 2019.
