Charcoal worker accused of murder yet to undergo mental evaluation

WINDHOEK, 15 MAY (NAMPA) – A charcoal worker on trial in the High Court on several counts of rape and a charge of murdering a toddler at Outjo in 2012, is still waiting to be sent for a second psychiatric evaluation.
State Advocate Ethel Ndlovu informed High Court Judge Nate Ndauendapo on Wednesday that accused Johannes Likuwa Hausiku was yet to be sent for a second 30-day psychiatric evaluation that will be conducted at the Oshakati State Hospital in the Oshana Region.
