Four RoRo vessels expected at Walvis Bay port this month

SWAKOPMUND, 16 MAY (NAMPA) – The Port of Walvis Bay is expected to receive four Roll-on/Roll-off (RoRo) ships during this month with the first vessel making its call on 20 May.
RoRo ships are vessels designed to carry wheeled cargo such as cars, trucks, semi-trailer trucks, trailers, and railroad cars, which are driven on and off the ship on their own wheels or using a platform vehicle such as a self-propelled modular transporter.
