Concerned Swakopmund residents demonstrate against cannabis

SWAKOPMUND, 22 MAY (NAMPA) – Concerned residents of Swakopmund took to the streets on Wednesday to demonstrate against the legalisation of cannabis in Namibia.
This comes about a month after another group demanded that cannabis be legalised.
In a petition read by Pastor Ismael Isak #Naweseb of the Back to Christ Movement Church in Swakopmund, the group challenged the demand, saying they feel legalisation would make the substance easily accessible and it will be misused.
