State succeeds in appeal against rape and murder discharge

WINDHOEK, 23 MAY (NAMPA) – A man cleared in March 2017 on charges of raping and murdering a schoolgirl whose body was found dumped in the bushes between Shandumbala and the Western Bypass in March 2013, is not off the hook yet.
This is because the State has now succeeded in its appeal against the discharge as per a judgement handed down in the Supreme Court on Tuesday.
