(Special for CAFS) Cameroon parliament deliberates on bill for ratification of Africa free trade deal

YAOUNDE, June 13 (Xinhua) -- Cameroon's National Assembly on Thursday began scrutinizing a bill that will permit the president to ratify the African Continental Free Trade Area (AfCFTA) agreement.
"It will be scrutinized by sub-committees and then discussed in the plenary and eventually adopted," lawmaker Joseph Owona told Xinhua.
Minister of Trade Luc Magloire Mbarga Atangana is expected to defend the bill before the Financial Committee of the National Assembly on Thursday.
