Spanish stock market falls by 1.98 percent on Wednesday

MADRID, Aug. 14 (Xinhua) -- Spanish share values fell by 1.98 percent on Wednesday with the benchmark stock market index Ibex-35 opening at 8,695.10 points and closing at 8,522.70 points.
The shares of 30 of the 35 companies on the Ibex-35 lost value, while the share price of five companies went up amid fears of a new recession.
