Fifth session of Children’s Parliament starts in capital

WINDHOEK, 16 AUG (NAMPA) – The Fifth Session of the Children’s Parliament of Namibia commenced under the theme ‘Engaging Young People in the Legislative Process’ here on Friday.
This year’s session which is attended by 98 children from all 14 regions of the country will run for one week and aims to advise governmental agencies responsible for law-making on policies that would improve the rights and welfare of children and young people.
