ONGWEDIVA, 25 AUG (NAMPA) – Namibia’s World Boxing Organisation (WBO) African welterweight champion, Mikka Shonena, was on Sunday crowned the division’s International Champion after beating Youli Dong from China at the Boxing Bonanza at the Ongwediva Trade Fair.
The boxing bonanza was titled ‘The Battle: Namiba vs China.’
Shonena won by unanimous decision, after the Chinese WBO Asia Pacific Youth welterweight champion, Dong, put up a tough fight for him.
