Guangdong carbon market closes lower

GUANGZHOU, Sept. 12 (Xinhua) -- Carbon emissions allowances closed 0.15 percent lower at 25.99 yuan (3.65 U.S. dollars) per tonne on Thursday at the China Emissions Exchange (Guangzhou), the largest local carbon market in China.
A total of 8,682 tonnes of allowances were transacted on Thursday, with a turnover of 225,622 yuan.
