Annual inflation decreased in August 2019

WINDHOEK, 12 SEP (NAMPA) - Month-on-month inflation decreased to 3,7 per cent in August 2019 from 4,4 per cent in August 2018, the Namibia Consumer Price Index (NCPI) shows.
According to the NCPI released by the Namibia Statistics Agency on Thursday, transport; housing, water, electricity and gas; alcoholic beverages and hotels, cafes and restaurants affected the slow-down in inflation.
