Food Bank launched in Otjozondjupa

OTJIWARONGO, 18 SEP (NAMPA) – More than 500 people gathered at Otjiwarongo on Wednesday to witness the official launch and first-ever distribution of food parcels to beneficiaries of the Food Bank Programme in the Otjozondjupa Region.
Deputy Minister of Poverty Eradication and Social Welfare, Reverend Aino Kapewangolo launched the distribution of the food parcels, saying for now, only identified residents of Otjiwarongo and Okahandja will benefit from the pilot programme.
