Swakopmund launches street vendors’ market

SWAKOPMUND, 19 SEP (NAMPA) – The Swakopmund Municipality on Thursday launched the Mondesa Pilot Hawkers’ market as well as a training workshop on safe food practices and personal hygiene for vendors.
The two activities, which were launched by Swakopmund Mayor, Paulina Nashilundo along Mandume Ndemufayo Street in Mondesa, are aimed at improving hygienic conditions for the sale of street food.
