Adult education still important: Kavihuha

WINDHOEK, 08 OCT (NAMPA) – The Teachers’ Union of Namibia (TUN) has reemphasised the importance of adult education in Namibia, saying it not only caters for adults, but also for young Namibians.
At a media briefing here on Tuesday, TUN Secretary General, Mahongora Kavihuha, said that the emphasis has long moved from the narrow confines of reading, writing, and numeracy programmes to broader issues in the scope of learning.
